Fire at the Utah Data centre

Unfortunately, last night on 4 April 2021, one of the generators in the Utah datacentre caught on fire resulting in power being cut to the core routers and the fire supression system. Sadly, our server hardware was in close proximity to the fire and as a result we believe it's now damaged beyond use.

We're now working around the clock to deploy new server hardware and to begin restoring your Minecraft Server from our disaster backups. Due to the logistics of organising and fitting new server hardware, we're expecting significant delays of up to 7 days to fully restore all Utah Minecraft Servers. We don't believe there will be any data loss.

We're providing 4 free days compensation for every day of downtime you receive. For instance, if you've been disrupted by this incident for 5 full days, we will provide 20 free days onto your server's renewal period. To claim your compensation, please open a support ticket with us once your server is back online.

We know this is a difficult time and appreciate your patience and support. Please rest assured we are doing all we can to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

We will update this page as soon as we know more. In the meantime, if you have any queries or concerns, please open a support ticket and we'll be happy to help.

UPDATE 8 April 2021 - Good news! We've already moved a large chunk of Minecraft Servers from Utah over to other data centres.

If your server isn't online yet, please open a support ticket and we'll be happy to get your server moved to another data centre using your recent server backup: https://serverminer.com/contact
